McCain chooses Woman for Vice Prez

As it has come to a shock to many American people, McCain's bold choice to make Sara Palin his Vice President, in my opinion, was not a wise choice. I am not just saying this because i am rooting for Obama, but i believe that if McCain truly wants to win this election, he must win the hearts of the American voters that are not so republican. He must try to get the votes of those who are in the middle of the Political Spectrum.

Not only is Sara Palin an unknown figure in the minds of countless American's, she is against many beliefs of new, young voters, such as the abortion rights. Sara Palin's appeal to working-class women seems very limitted, due to her extreme beliefs. If McCain believes that he can win Hilary Clinton's votes by choosing a woman to be his Vice President, he is surely mistaken. Palin's views are almost complete opposite of those of Clinton's. McCain should work more on trying to get those votes and win the hearts of the American women, instead of pushing them away.

McCain should have made a wiser choice, before choosing Sara Palin. He should have gone through the possibilities of what could happen beforehand. If McCain is trying to win this campaign, he must win the hearts of the American people. He has chosen a vice president that is so conservative, that getting the votes of numerous democrates is nearly impossible. Getting the votes of the American's who are undecided is going to be very difficult for McCain because Sara Palin is such a strong republican. He should aim on getting those votes and change up his game.

Nice post! Interesting views here. I think you've hit on why this theory is a bit flawed. However, do you think women might identify with the sexism she is experiencing? Or her efforts to balance raising children and having a career?

For example, Joe Biden has quite a few children. Yet, no one is asking him if his family has suffered as a result of him being a political figure.

What do you think.

So hl it seems like your one of those ignorant republicans who sit at home all day on the computer..too bad we cant say the same for our republican candidate Mr. John McCain because what was it..oh yeah he doesnt know how to use a computer..? Think about it now..do you honestly want a president whos 77 years old meaning hes a few heartbeats away from croaking..and once he does..Sarah Palin..a governor from alaska who cant even control her own teenage daughter from getting pregnant becomes president of the united states of america..that'd be excellent now wouldnt it?

oh and another thing..a vote for McCain is a vote for Bush keep that in mind next time you write pointless blog comments.
